Urban Learners Community CIC is an organisation that redistributes any profit to support people and communities, has no shareholders and is protected by guarantee.

COMMENTS
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service Privacy Policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

USERS, STAFF, VOLUNTEERS, COLLABORATORS AND VISITORS

Urban Learners has a broad reach including teachers, researchers, analysts, collaborators, volunteers, organisations, professional consultancy organisations, local authorities, schools, universities and individuals. Our policies apply to all those who are involved with Urban Learners whether listed above or in addition.

MODERN SLAVERY AND LIVING WAGE

Urban Learners prioritises its commitment at the highest level, protecting and educating staff, taking dedicated action and collaborating across the organisation to combat modern slavery.

Urban Learners is proud to be an Living Wage employer.

This commits us to paying at least the Living Wage to all staff, contractors and subcontractors according to the parameters set by the Living Wage Foundation. Urban Learners also goes one step further by paying the Living Wage to all apprentices and interns, as well as any person working under any of our contracts for two or more hours.

SAFEGUARDING

Urban Learners is naturally concerned with the safeguarding of any vulnerable person, adult or child. Our work is especially sensitive as we work with many children and young people. Our staff are all briefed in accordance with our Safeguarding Policy and are DBS checked.

Volunteers and support staff working with us are briefed in accordance with our policy.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Urban Learners, (Urban Learners Community CIC or Urban Learners Limited), shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption, arising from your use of this website or our services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation.
