WHY
Our mission is to enhance people’s access, skills and knowledge of architecture and creativity, in order to advocate for a better, representative built environment.
We believe in the value of learning through creativity and that architecture embodies a creative way of life with a wider appreciation of the arts, culture, design and heritage.
Equality Diversity and Inclusion is at the core of what we do. We are passionate about empowering those from diverse and under-represented backgrounds who often don’t have the same access to creative activities and cultural spaces as their peers. This access is vital. Only through equitable creative learning opportunities can we make the creative and built-environment professions more diverse and therefore more equal, so our future environments can reflect the people they are designed for.
We therefore strive to halt the decline of creative subjects in state education, and promote access to future opportunities, by working with students before key milestones including GCSEs and A-Levels.
