SECRET CITY SPACES

Organized by URBAN LEARNERS

LIFE BETWEEN BUILDINGS

City to Barbican _ Secret and public spaces – Explore how radical ideas about equality, culture and public life were built into the city itself.

Learn how the iconic architecture of the Barbican, became a tool for society shaping after WW2.

We’ll look at housing, culture and public space as expressions of how design could create a fairer, more collective way of living. It’s a story of social ambition, told through pedways, plazas and public space.
